Popular Skit maker and actor, Debo Adedayo well known as Mr Macaroni, has reacted after he was listed as the second-highest-grossing actor in Nollywood for the year.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, he shared a picture of himself alongside a chart showing the milestone.
In his caption, he wrote: “I’m honored to be listed as the second highest grossing Actor for my features in the highest grossing blockbuster film ‘Behind The Scenes’ and AMVCA’s film of the year ‘Freedom Way’.”
Mr Macaroni thanked key collaborators in his post. He wrote: “Grateful to the iconic @funkejenifaakindele for trusting me to deliver the character Johnson. The incredible @blessinguzzi for the trust to be Abiola.”
He also acknowledged other films he featured in, saying: “Honored to have also featured in the record breaking ‘Gingerrr’ by the Fantastic Four @kie_kie__ @iambisola @bolajiogunmola @wumitoriola. Shout out to the audacious @noraawolowo for ‘Red Circle’ and the ever distinctive @tundeolaoyedirect for ‘Son of Iron’.”
He added: “@filmoneng you are doing well! Thank you to everyone watching and supporting our works. Always humbled by your love. I have something fantabulous coming your way soooon!!!”
According to industry box office data, Funke Akindele’s Behind The Scenes became the highest grossing Nigerian film of 2025, earning over N2 billion at cinemas. Freedom Way, in which Mr Macaroni played a lead role, won major awards at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards and opened nationwide in July 2025.
Mr Macaroni has appeared in several notable Nigerian films in recent years, including Freedom Way, Red Circle, and Behind The Scenes. He is also widely known for his online skits and social commentary.
