ADC intimidated by our membership surge – APC

Must read

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed allegations by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) claiming civil servants were pressured into joining its electronic membership registration, describing the claim as baseless and politically motivated.

In a statement released in Abuja on Monday, APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, said the accusations were part of a smear campaign intended to undermine the party’s digital registration exercise.

“Clearly, the ADC is intimidated by the phenomenal success of our Party’s E-Registration exercise,” Morka said, emphasising that millions of Nigerians have registered voluntarily and enthusiastically, inspired by the party’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The APC further accused the ADC of fabricating a fake “APC membership slip” allegedly linked to a notorious terrorist, labeling it as part of a broader disinformation effort.

Highlighting the popularity of the registration drive, Morka noted that the exercise, originally set to end on January 31, was extended to February 8, 2026, to accommodate growing public demand.

While the ADC continues to spread falsehoods, the APC reaffirmed its commitment to digital innovation and democratic engagement, stating that the party remains focused on consolidating its gains and advancing its agenda nationwide.
