An Appeal Court sitting in Abuja has fixed a date for hearing the appeal filed by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of the NNPP.
The Court on Thursday, fixed November 17 (Friday) 2023 for the judgment.
The Court of Appeal on November 6, reserved judgment regarding Yusuf’s petition challenging his removal by the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.
Recall that the Tribunal on September 20 nullified the election of Yusuf by declaring 165, 663 of his votes invalid.
Consequently, the three-man panel of the Tribunal led by Justice Oluyemi Akintan Osadebay declared Nasiru Gawuna of the All Progressives Party, the winner of the polls.
Unsatisfied with the ruling Gov Yusuf approached the appellate court for a review.
