Gunmen suspected to be bandits have abducted five female students of the Federal University, Dutsin-ma (FUDMA) in Katsina State.
The incident which happened on Wednesday (Today) has created tension in the state.
Report claims that the students were abducted from around Mariamoh Ajiri Memorial International School, along Tsaskiya road at about 2:30 am.
The Katsina State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, while confirming the abduction disclosed that some suspects had been apprehended over the abduction.
He said effort were on to secure the release of the students and to apprehend the suspects.
