Lagos State Police Command has said controversial Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, aka Sam Larry, has now been arrested.
His arrest follows an ongoing investigation into the death of singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, who confirmed the development on his verified Twitter page on Thursday also said Sam Larry is assisting with ongoing investigation.
He posted: “Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody.
“He is currently assisting with the ongoing investigation.”
AFRIPOST gathered that Sam Larry was smuggled in from Nairobi Kenya around 10pm local time.
He was picked up at the airport by police officers and taken to the command headquarters.
Arriving at the headquarters at about 10:30pm, he was handed over to DC Panti after being questioned by the commissioner.
