JAMB wants Innoson scholarship for their candidate – Mmesoma’s father reacts to alleged fake result

Must read

Mr Romanus Ejikeme, father of Mmesoma whose score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, has been disputed by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, had accused jamb of creating a story around his daughter’s result just to give the Innoson scholarship given to his daughter to their own candidate.

Recall that Mmesoma had before the current controversy been offered N3 million Naira scholarship by Innoson company.

But JAMB is alleging forgery, saying the result showcased by the Anambra schoolgirl was fake.

Mmesoma had claimed she scored 362 marks.

Despite her denial, JAMB in a statement on Tuesday, barred her from taking the exam for the next three years, insisting that she forged the result.

But her father is now insisting that JAMB was not fair to the student.

He said, “Mmesoma cannot manipulate her UTME score. I don’t believe what they are saying. They just want to transfer that scholarship to another person. That is why they are saying that Mmesoma did not make that score.

“It is even her (Mmesoma) friends that saw her score on the internet and started calling her before she went and printed it out. We have the print-out with us now.”
