The newly sworn in Governor of Niger State Rt. Hon. Umar Bago has pledged to ensure Nigerlites have access to 24 hour uninterrupted power supply.
The governor stated this after he and his Deputy Comrade Yakubu Garba took the oath of office and allegiance at the Minna Trade Fair ground on Monday.
Bago explained that the state despite the presence of four hydro electric dams suffers power outage,” noting,” this must stop, we can’t host the Nation’s dams and not enjoy power supply.”
He assured the people of the State of providing portable water, he will ensure the Police Station built on top of pipelines is marked and demolished.
“On infrastructure, we will take advantage of the Public, Private Partnership (PPP) to boost our roads, ensure uninterrupted power supply.
