Governor Fubara vows to enhance ease of doing business in Rivers

Siminalaye Fubara, the newly sworn-in Governor of Rivers State, has pledged to prioritize improving the ease of doing business in the state. The inauguration ceremony took place at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt, where Governor Fubara and his deputy, Professor Ngozi Ordu, were sworn into office. The event was graced by notable dignitaries, including the immediate past governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, and his wife, Justice Suzette Nyesom-Wike. Former governor Peter Odili and his wife, Justice Mary Odili, as well as the immediate past Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom, were also in attendance.

During the handover ceremony, Governor Wike handed over the Rivers State flag and official documents to Governor Fubara, symbolizing the transition of power. Governor Wike expressed his confidence in the new governor and offered his support for a smooth and successful administration. His departure from the venue after the handover marked the formal transfer of leadership.
