Nigerian Falconet’s on Sunday night crashed out of the Women under 20 World Cup going on in Costa Rica.
The Falconet lost 2-0 to Northerland in a highly rated quarter-finals encounter.
The Nigerian that started the game in the first 15 minutes of the encounter so well lost hold of the game in the 25th minutes when a defensive error saw the Dutch putting the ball across the goal line.
The second goal also came in the first half with a similar goal-keeping and defensive error.
With the win, Northerland will now proceed to the semi.
Nigeria had won their last 3 matches. The last game against Korea Republic ended 3:1, hence Nigeria qualified as top team from group D.
