The Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Abba Moro, congratulated Sir John Ngbede on his emergence as PDP Deputy Governorship candidate for the 2023 general election.
Ngbede, the State PDP Chairman, was named running mate to the Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly and the PDP governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Titus Uba, on Sunday by leadership of the ruling party in the state.
In a statement signed by his Senior Special Adviser on New Media, Emmanuel Eche-Ofun John on Sunday, Moro described the choice of Ngbede as a round peg in a round hole and well-deserved, considering his contribution to the successes of the party in Benue State and the leadership qualities that he posseses.
The former Minister said he would continue to work with the duo and other critical stakeholders to ensure that PDP continues to win elections in the State and beyond.
He wished the party Chairman and the entire PDP family success ahead of the 2023 polls.
