Foremost Nigerian entertainer, Charlyboy, AKA AreaFada, has reacted to the arrest of Zinoleesky and Mohbad by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA.
Zino and Mohbad were arrested by drug law officers in their home in Lagos over alleged use of drugs.
NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, alleged that cannabis and molly were recovered by the operatives in their residence.
But reacting to the development, the Areafada lamented the arrest of the young artists who were handcuffed and taken away by the NDLEA after much resistance by their colleagues and friends as captured in a video recording from the scene.
sharing the video from the scene, Charlyboy accused the Nigerian government and its agents of ignoring the heavy use of drugs in the north but going after artists in the south over the same issue.
Charlyboy wrote: “NDLEA raided and harrassed Zinoleesky and Mohbad for inside der house last night.
“Why dis useless unnecessary Bragado? If na drugs dem dey look for, dey should travel up north and see how drugs have destroyed most northerners, especially children of the so-called big men.
“Why are they mercilessly terrorizing southerners? Where is justice?” he wrote.
