Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has dismissed the report of his alleged plan to declare to run in the 2023 elections after the All Progressives Congress, APC, convention.
Speculations were all over the media space on Monday that the V.P would make a declaration on the 2023 presidency soon.
But Osinbajo’s spokesman, Laolu Akande, clarified that the report was false and speculative snippets.
He added that announcements on the 2023 elections will come directly from the office of the V.P and not from the media.
Laolu tweeted on Monday.
The tweet read: “I’ve seen “news” that VP’ll announce presidential bid after APC’s convention. Anyone reading the story know it’s all false and speculative snippets.
“ Any information on activities and actions of the VP will come directly from his office and not sponsored speculations in the press.”
