Nigeria on Friday recorded 221 fresh cases of coronavirus in 17 states and the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC made the announcement on Friday night via a post on its verified Facebook page.
According to the health agency, the country now has the total of 56,956 recorded cases with 1,094 deaths while 48,305 patients have been treated and discharged from various isolation centres.
