The Nigeria centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 126 more coronavirus cases in 16 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The health agency made the announcement on Wednesday night via a post on its official Facebook page.
The new development brings the total number of recorder cases in the country to 56,604 with 1,091 deaths while 47,872 patients have been treated and discharged from various isolation centres.
