Nigeria’s active Coronavirus cases jump to 16,071 as NCDC confirms more cases

The active COVID-19 cases in Nigeria has risen to 16,071 as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC confirms 603 new cases.

Lagos State remains the epicentre as it records higher figure followed by Edo, 18 other states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

NCDC confirmed this development on Saturday night via a post on its verified Facebook page.

According to the figures released, the total confirmed cases in the country now stands at 28,167 with 674 deaths while 11,462 patients have been discharged from various isolation centres across the country.
