Nigeria’s active COVID-19 cases jump to 15,358 as NCDC confirms more cases

The active coronavirus cases in Nigeria has jumped to 15,358 as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC confirmed 561 more cases.

The development brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 25,694 with 590 deaths while not less than 9,749 patients have been successfully treated and discharged from various isolation centres across the country.

NCDC while making the confirmation on Tuesday night via a post on its verified Facebook page, also indicated that the new cases were recorded in 18 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
