Nigeria’s active COVID-19 cases hit 14,995 as NCDC confirms more cases

Active coronavirus cases in Nigeria has risen to 14,995 as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC confirmed 490 fresh cases in 19 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

NCDC announced the development on Sunday night via a post on its verified Facebook page.

According to the post, the total number of confirmed cases in the country now stands at 24,567 with 565 deaths while 9007 patients have recovered and discharged from various isolation centres across the country.
