Deputy Senate President, Dr. Ike Ekweremadu, is currently in custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
According to EFCC source who does not want his name mentioned, Ekweremadu is being quizzed at the Commission’s Head Office in Abuja.
“Yes, he has been around with us,” a senior EFCC official who asked not to be named told News Express around 5pm on Tuesday.
Asked if the Deputy Senate President would be allowed to go home after questioning, the source said: “I cannot predict that. It depends on how it goes.”
