Governor Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke of Osun state has lauded the activities the founder of Osun Food Bank, Awodiran Olatunji.
The governor commended the activities of the Chief Executive Officer of Leovest Reassuring Hands Foundation for establishing a food-bank – first of its kind in the state.
Adeleke appreciated the UK-Based Nigerian for feeding the widows, lifting the downtrodden and sponsoring the education of brilliant but indigent students among other life-touching initiatives.
The governor in his address appreciated Olatunji for consistent distribution of food items to widows in Ibokun region of the state, irrespective of tribe, religion and political affiliation in the last ten months.
Olatunji in his address, appreciated the governor for identifying with him.
He disclosed that the foundation was founded in 2022.
He added that its mission was to create a space where compassion meets action to make impact in the world.
“I envision a world where individuals are given the opportunity to thrive, irrespective of their circumstances, and this vision fuels my dedication to making a difference.”
