Nigerian record producer, Rexxie arrested in Uganda, asks for help

Nigerian record producer and singer, Chisom Faith, well known as Rexxie, has been arrested in Uganda.

Rexxie, best recognized by his sound ‘KKP’ has been held by the Ugandan Immigration.

However, the reason for the producer’s arrest which he described as “unfair” remains unknown as he decided to keep mute on that.

While calling for help, Rexxie urged fans to demand for his release with the hashtag, “UgandaFreeRexxie.”

On his Instagram page on Monday morning, he wrote, “I’ve been arrested at the Ugandan Immigration.

“Pls I need help.”

Recall that Nigerian singers, Omah Lay and Tems were arrested and charged to court and subsequently detained in prison in Uganda for making an appearance at a concert held in the country at Speke Resort, Kampala, on Saturday, 12th of December, despite COVID-19 social distancing regulations.

They were later released after spending two days in jail.
