President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Abba Aliyu as the new Managing Director of the Rural Electrification Agency and four other management staff.
The President also asked all appointees in his administration to uphold the highest standards of transparency and accountability in discharge their duties.
This was disclosed by the presidential spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement on Thursday.
The development comes after the President suspended Ahmad Salihijo Ahmed and three executive directors over N1.2 billion fraudulent misappropriation in the past two years.
