Emerse Fae, Cote d’Ivoire head coach, has revealed his plan to stop the Super Eagles of Nigeria from Winning the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final.
The host Cote d’Ivoire will clash with the Nigeria’s Super Eagles in the final of the competition at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan on Sunday (today).
The Elephants will look to avenge their group stage defeat to the Super Eagles.
The hosts lost the group game 1-0 with William Troost-Ekong netting the winning goal from the spot.
“Like any high-level match, like any final, it will come down to the details,” Fae told reporters.
“We will be patient. We will not rush. We will focus on starting the match well and be patient in order to unsettle them.”
