As the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, kick-starts its national delegate election ahead of the forth-coming party’s primary in the state, winners have now emerged.
Reports from the election venues received so far saw Senator Clifford Ordia emerging as the national delegate for Esan Central LGA while Chief Osaro Idah was elected national delegate for Oredo.
Declaring Sen. Ordia winner of the election, the electoral officer said:
“Me and my colleagues from Abuja, as the electoral officers of this election, we declare Most Distinguish senator Clifford Ordia the winner of this election.”
The announcement came amid cheers from supporters and other voters.
Similarly, the electoral officers for Oredo while declaring Idah as the winner of the delegate election got a confirmation from the voters that the exercise was free, fair and credible.
