The Intelligence Response Team of the Nigeria Police Force on Monday, smashed a notorious bandit group in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, led by one Isa Dei-Dei.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
Adejobi, in the statement said the operation resulted in a gun battle between the officers and the killer bandits.
According to the statement, the notorious Isa Dei-Dei was neutralized during the gun duel, while other members of the syndicate managed to escape with gunshot injuries.
The Force PRO called on the general public, particularly medical practitioners, to raise an alarm if a patient is seen with gunshot wounds.
“We therefore urge members of the public, especially medical practitioners, to call our attention to anyone or patients seen with gunshot wounds for further investigation”, he said.
