Seven corpses have been discovered after a bandits attack in three communities in Entekpa Ward, Adoka District of Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State.
According to locals, an unspecified number of persons are still missing in the affected communities, including Iwili, Umogidi and Opaha in Entekpa Ward after the attack on Sunday night.
Confirming the incident, Alfred Oketa Omakwu, Chairman of Otukpo LGA, said that security operatives recovered the seven bodies on Tuesday.
While reaching out to the Benue State Police Command, spokesperson, Catherine Anene said she is unware of the incident.
