Popular Nigerian singer, Joeboy, has announced his exit from the Empawa Music, owned by Mr Eazi.
Joeboy whose real name is Joseph Akinfenwa Donus, signed a dual deal with global music giant, Warner Music.
The dual deal sees Joeboy launch his record label called Young Legend as well as being Warner Music’s latest flagship artist.
Sharing a ritual-themed clip announcing the launch of his record label via X, Joeboy wrote: “Dawn of a new era. Young Legend is alive.”
The singer, five years ago, joined Empawa Music and gained prominence with the release of his hit single, ‘Baby.’
He was nominated for the Next Rated category at the 2019 Headies Awards but lost to Rema.
