Governor Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa Ondo State has dissolved the State Executive Council, with immediate effect.
The governor also sacked all Senior Special Assistants, SSAs, and Special Assistants, SAs.
The Aiyedatiwa, the former deputy governor of the state, took over the reins of leadership after the death of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
The former governor, Akeredolu died on December 27, 2023, at a German hospital following a protracted illness.
Burial arrangement by his family said Akeredolu’s funeral rites would begin from February 15 to February. 25 in Ibadan, Akure and Owo.
