President Bola Tinubu is in a closed-door meeting with Governor Siminalayi Fubara Rivers State at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
According to Channels, Fubara arrived at the Presidential Villa around 5.40 pm on Thursday.
He proceeded directly to the President’s office, where the meeting is currently taking place behind closed doors.
The purpose of the meeting, however, remains unknown at the time of this report.
This marks Fubara’s first visit to the Presidential Villa since the signing of the eight-point agreement following Tinubu’s intervention in the dispute between the governor and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
