A famous Yoruba activist, poet, author, writer, and artiste, Alhaji Olanrewaju Adepoju, aka Lanrewaju Adepoju, is dead.
Adepoju, at age 81 died in his residence, Ibadan around 7 pm.
He was the Aaare Alasa of Ibadan land until his death.
His death was confirmed by one of his children in a short statement obtained by some online newspaper on Monday.
He said, “Baba has gone to rest”.
