The labour unions including the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, TUC, have declared a nationwide strike.
This strike action according to the unions, is followed by the brutalisation of the NLC president, Joe Ajaero.
The labour unions ordered its affiliates to implement the resolutions of the National Executive Council.
Festus Osifo, TUC President made this disclosure on Monday while addressing journalists.
According to Osifo, the strike would remain until the government at all levels wake up to their responsibility.
