Kogi off-session elections: PDP candidate, Dino Melaye wins polling unit

Dino Melaye, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in Kogi State, has won the ongoing election in his polling unit.

Melaye with 210 votes defeated his main challenger, Ahmed Ododo of the All Progressives Congress candidate (APC).

Ododo garnered 22 votes while Leke Abejide of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) came a distant third with 7 votes.

AFRIPOST had earlier reported that the former Senator, Melaye had alleged that result sheets were filled and tempered with ahead of the election at all polling units in Ogori/Magongo local government areas of the state.
