Two people have lost their lives at the Kara section of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, in a crash that occurred.
Ten other people were also injured in the accident which occurred at about 08:32am on Friday.
According to the reports from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), 14 people were involved in the accident.
The reports further said that two persons died instantly, leaving 10 people injured and 2 people unhurt.”
In a statement by the FRSC spokesperson in Ogun, Florence Okpe, said the accident involved a white Mazda bus with, registration number, XV945EPE, and an unregistered Howo Sino Truck.
Okpe blamed the crash on route violation and dangerous driving.
She added that the injured victims had been taken to Famobis Hospital and the bodies had been deposited at a mortuary in Idera.
Meanwhile, the Sector Commander of the FRSC in Ogun State, Anthony Uga, has advised drivers to shun driving against traffic, asking them to exercise caution while driving in order to avoid endangering their lives and the lives of other road users.
