Four persons are said to have been killed as a boat conveying farmers from Ubbe District in Nasarawa Eggon capsized while crossing a river at Hunki village of Awe LGA.
The farmers who were returning from their rice farm on Monday night when the incident happened were left to battle the accident which claimed four lives.
Those killed have been identified as Alkali Congo, Shedrack Dauda, Mashack Dauda, and Akolo Moses.
Report claims that the bodies of the deceased have been conveyed back to the village for proper identification by their families.
Report claims the casualty number is likely to increase as the driver of the boat has not been seen since the accident.
