Lagos agog as top African women converge at Impact Summit 3.0

Top African women in politics, business and entertainment converged on Lagos, the commercial hub of Africa to take part in Africa Women Impact Summit 3.0.

African Women Impact Summit is the leading platform empowering women across the continent.

The 2023 annual 2023 International Women’s Summit witnessed a massive success with many women in leadership and influential positions across Africa in attendance.

Keynote speakers who graced the summit, shared their thoughts, insights and experiences with an eager audience.

Notable among them was His Excellency, Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, former President of Mauritius, who captivated the attendees with her wisdom and inspirational words.

Other speakers present included: Mrs. Kanayo Awani, the Executive Vice President, intra-African Trade Bank AFREXIMBANK, Hon. Nkiruka Onyejeocha, Honorable Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Hon. Stella Okotete, Executive Director, Business Development NEXIM Bank, Hon. Barr. Uju Kennedy, Honorable Minister of Women Affairs, Federal Republic of Nigeria ably represented. Stephanie Busari Bediham, Senior Editor, CNN International, Edith Banda, Executive Director, Joyce Banda Foundation, Hon. Chief Ginikar Tor, Honorable Commissioner, Federal Character Commission, Olga Fleming, CEO Oruga Group etc.

Others are the Executive Governor of Lagos State ably represented by the SSG Barr. Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, (FICMC, MCArB) and Abosede George PS office of SDG and investment Lagos State government.

Also in attendance ar Josey Mahache of Duetche, Dr. David James Egwu, co-founder and convener Africa women impact Summit and Dr. Utchay Odims, co-founder and convener Africa women impact Summit.

The summit also witnessed the presence of numerous celebrities like Africa’s king of Comedy, Ali Baba, Ace Producer and entrepreneur, Larry Gaagaa, Nollywood Actress Eberechukwu Nwaizu Bayray and other notable women leaders, further enhancing the diversity and significance of the event.

Africa Women Impact Summit 3.0 serves as a catalyst and crucial platform for empowering women and promoting gender equality across the African continent. Throughout the summit, networking opportunities allowed attendees to connect with like-minded individuals, establish partnerships, and build a strong support network for future collaborations.
