The Plateau State Police Command has arrested a truck carrying dry leaves believed to be Indian hemp in the Kwata area of Jos South Local Government Area.
The state Commissioner of Police, Okoro Julius, announced that the arrest was made based on a tip from an informant.
He said that upon receiving the information, the police promptly deployed officers to the location.
The commissioner mentioned that the suspects, vehicles, and evidence are currently under police custody, and they are working diligently to apprehend the remaining suspects as the investigation progresses.
