Bobrisky, also known as Idris Okuneye has reacted to the recent arrest of gay suspects in Delta State on Monday.
The suspects allegedly organised a gay wedding in Ekpan town, Delta State.
The arrest triggered some reactions from Nigerians.
Bobrisky who expressed his opinion on the recent arrest on Instagram described the incident as “the dumbest news.” Bobrisky criticized the arrested suspects, stating that they deserved the treatment they received because there is a law in Nigeria against gay marriage.
He wrote, “Hey guys! I want to quickly address those set of guys who were arrested in Delta. Firstly, there’s a law passed against you guys that you can’t marry yourself in this country. Why the hell did you all call yourself together to organize a wedding? You all deserve how you all were treated. Sad truth”
He also advised gay individuals in Nigeria to consider relocating to places where they are accepted if they want to be with their partners.
