The Federal Government of Nigeria has withdrawn its charges against the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Godwin Emefiele.
The FG disclosed this in an oral application before Justice Nicholas Oweibo to withdraw the charge of illegal possession of firearms against Emefiele on Wednesday.
The government decision, according to GWG report, was informed by emerging facts and circumstances of the case which requires closer investigation.
