2023 WWC: Ighalo, Osimhen send message to NFF over unpaid salary, allowances.

Past and present players of the Super Eagles have advised the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) to without further delay pay their female counterparts their long-standing arrears.

Unpaid salary and other allowances has since become a subject of controversy between Randy Waldrum ladies and the football body.

This has led to global players’ union, FIFPRO, releasing a statement, questioning why the NFF should take that for granted..

It noted on Instagram as shared by Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala that “it is regrettable that players needed to challenge their own federation at such an important time.”

Meanwhile, in further reaction, Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen, replied the post with: “Pay them NFF”.

Former Everton striker, Victor Anichebe, wrote: “NFF pay them! They did us all proud! And even if they didn’t. Pay them what they are owed!!!”

Ex-Super Eagles attacker, Odion Ighalo also said, “NFF never stop these things.”
