BREAKING: APC Vice Chairman, Lukman resigns over Ganduje

The National Vice Chairman (North West) of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Salihu Mohammed Lukman, has resigned.

Lukman’s resignation follows speculations that former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, may be named APC’s National Chairman.

In a letter dated July 26, Lukman said the current atmosphere in APC was contrary to the vision of the founding fathers.

The letter was addressed to the APC National Working Committee, NWC-led by the acting National Chairman, Abubakar Kyari.

Lukman warned APC against replacing the former National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu with Ganduje.

He said it would be suicidal to replace Adamu with Ganduje.
