Tinubu back in Nigeria after attending AU summit in Kenya

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja, the nation’s capital after travelling for the 5th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union, AU.

The event held in Kenya at the weekend.

The president arrived Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 4:20 p.m. on Monday.

Welcoming him included the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume and other top officials including the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; Imo Governor, Hope Uzodinnma, and former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

President Tinubu was at the meeting in his capacity as the Chairman of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

He flew to Kenya on Saturday.
