The immediate past Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom has been arrested and detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Afripost gathered that the ex-Governor got an invitation by the anti-graft body for questioning over the state of affairs and what he left behind in the state.
Ortom, who was seen with his media aide, Terver Akase Abraham Kwanhgu was seen in the Makurdi zonal office of the agency, which is located at Alor Gordon street in the state capital at exactly 10:08am.
