Boss Mustapha, the immediate past Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), has generously donated two operational Hilux vehicles and 24 motorcycles to bolster surveillance efforts and combat insecurity in Hong Local Government Area (LGA) of Adamawa State.

During the vehicle presentation on behalf of the former SGF, Barrister Alheri Bulus Nyako, the Acting Chairman of Kilba Elders Forum, commended the police and hunters’ groups for their tireless efforts in safeguarding the community alongside other security formations. Nyako emphasized that providing mobility support to the police at this critical juncture is crucial.

The vehicles were received by the state Commissioner of Police, Afolabi Babatola, who assured the Zah community, which recently suffered an attack by insurgents, of the government’s unwavering commitment to their protection. CP Babatola also announced plans to upgrade the Garaha Police Unit and reopen other outpost police stations across the state.

CP Babatola pledged to reopen all the outpost police stations simultaneously, starting with the upgrade of the Garaha Police station to ensure a greater police presence and improved security. He urged the community to collaborate with the security agencies by providing valuable information that could lead to the arrest of criminals.

Usman Wa’aganda, the Chairman of Hong Local Government Area, and Musa Gwanki, the leader of the hunters, expressed their gratitude for the support received and assured that the donated vehicles and motorcycles would be used judiciously to enhance security in the area.
