BREAKING: Tinubu gets senate’s approval to appoint 20 special advisers

The Senate has given a node to President Bola Tinubu’s request to appoint 20 special advisers.

Reading the president’s request on the floor of the upper legislative chamber on Tuesday, the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan said the identities of the special advisers remain unknown.

But after the letter was read, the senate approved the request.

Recall that Tinubu was on May 29 officially inaugurated as the 16th President of Nigeria.

Since his inauguartion, the president had made only a few appointments.

He recently confirmed the appointment of Femi Gbajabiamila as the Chief of Staff and George Akume, a former Governor as Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SSG.
