Abia Gov. Otti appoints Special Advisers, Assistants

The Abia State Governor, Alex Chioma Otti, on Thursday, made another appointment barely after few days ago he was sworn-in into of appointed a retired commander of the Nigeria Naval, Macdonald Ubah, as Special Adviser on security.

Also appointed as special advisers and assistant includes, Mr Michael Akpara (Finance), Professor Uche Eme Uche (Education), Mr Uche Mark Nwosu (Chief of Protocol), and Hon Luke Ukara Onyeani (Legislative Matters)

This was contained in a release issued in umuahia, the state capital, by Kazie Uko, the Chief Press Secretary to the Abia Governor,

According to the release, “others are Mr Uwanna Ikechukwu (Legal Matters), Professor Joel F. Ogbonna (Petroleum and Energy), Dr. Clifford C. Agbaeze ( Agriculture), Mr. Chimereze Okigbo -(Internally Generated Revenue), Mr. Uche Ukeje -(Aba Rejuvenation), Mr. Dodoh Okafor (Public Communication), Mr. Uzor Nwachukwu (Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs)

“Mr. Kingsley Anosike (Planning and Strategy), Mr. Uzoma Nwagba (Digital Economy and SME), Rev Father Christian Uche Anokwuru (Policies and Interventions), Mrs. Ifeoma Thomas (Vulnerable Groups and Poverty Alleviation), Pastor Dike Nwankwo (Special Duties)

“Mr Okey Kanu (Strategic Communication), Dr. (Mrs.) Betty Emeka-Obasi (Special Duties), Mr. Chinedu Ekeke (Youth and Sports Development) Mr. Chuka Ofili (Domestic ), and  Dr. Chimezie Ukaegbu (Trade and Commerce)”

The appointment takes effect from June 1, 2023″, the release stated.
