The publication stated that the licenses of the financial institutions and companies were revoked because they ceased to carry on their business in Nigeria for a period of six months.

President Muhammadu Buhari has said because he has a good relationship with neighbouring Niger Republic, its people will defend him upon exit from office on May 29.
Buhari will on Monday, May 29, pass the leadership mantle to his party man and President-elect, Bola Tinubu.
But the outgoing president said he was confidence that he will be defended and protected by Niger Republic when any thing unexpected comes up.
According to him, if Nigerians make the country difficult to live in after the handover ceremony, Niger will defend him.
He spoke during the inauguration of the Nigeria Customs Service Corporate Headquarters in Abuja, on Tuesday.
He reiterated that his relocation to his country home in Daura was imperative, stating that he wishes to stay far away from Abuja but closer to the Niger Republic.
“I said these few things about my personal belief because I have only six more days to go.
“And I try to plan to be as far away from Abuja as possible. I came from an area that is far away from Abuja.
“I said if anybody with force moves, I have a good relationship with my neighbours. Niger people will defend me,” Buhari said.
