Nigerian musician and one of EndSARS frontline protesters, Falz D Baad Guy, has questioned why police is one sided in punishing only those who assault the police but fails to act when their men do same to citizens.
Falz who shared a post on his Instagram handle of police brutality on the street of Lagos and one other unidentified place said even though he does not approve an attack on the police, he believes police let go men who brutalize innocent citizens.
According to Falz, this continues to happen even after the EndSARS.
He asked:
“When do we actually pause to address the root cause of all these – Nigeria Police Force?”
Highlighting the brutality of the police, he said while the public awaits what triggered Seun’s action against the police, everyone knows that it’s very easy to meet a drunken policeman.
According to him:
” We all know they constantly endanger lives and property.
“We all know they extort and rob at gunpoint.
“We all know they continue to maim and brutalize.
“We all know they conduct extrajudicial killings.
“Mr Inspector General of Police, is this how policing is done?
“The speed wey una take arrest and charge @bigbirdkuti, you no go use am do something about this overly dysfunctional police.”
