The PTC, led by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and chairman, Boss Mustapha, clarified that the Inauguration Sub-Committee has already made significant progress in planning for a peaceful transfer of power on May 29, 2023.

According to Willy Bassey, the Director of Information in the office of the SGF, various approved events are scheduled to hold in the week starting on May 22, 2023.
