In a tragic incident, a gas explosion claimed the life of the representative of the President General of Orogun Kingdom, Pastor Onos Adese, at his country home in Orogun, Ughelli North Local Government Area. Along with his wife and housemaid, Adese was badly injured and rushed to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) in Edo State for medical attention. Unfortunately, he did not survive the explosion and passed away at the hospital.
As of the time of writing, his wife and housemaid were said to be in critical condition. The police have not yet released an official statement on the incident.
