President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has denied that he travelled because his health was failing.
Rumours had it that the former Lagos governor was rushed out of the country to France at night over his failing health.
But speaking shortly after arriving Abuja on Monday, Tinubu said he rested well and got refreshed, stressing that he was prepared for the task ahead.
Addressing the crowd who followed him home, the President-elect said: “I’m happy to be back. I have rested, I’m refreshed and I’m ready for the task ahead.
“Forget about what the rumour mill may have told you. I’m strong, very strong.”
