Justice Inyang Edem Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja has put to stop the moves by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to suspend the outgoing governor of Rivers State, Nyesome Wike over alleged anti-party activities.
The Judge also forbade the national leadership of the party from annulling the membership of the governor-elect of Rivers State, Mr Simi Fubara over the same allegation.
Justice Ekwo in his judgment on Tuesday while attending to two separate suits instituted against the PDP said the due process of law must be followed by any organization set up by law when it is a legal matter.
